Bond Street Studio Policies

PHOTO AND VIDEO EQUIPMENT RENTALS

 
 
 

1st STUDIO HOLDS & OPTIONS

All Studio Holds or Options, be they 1st, 2nd or 3rd, will be honored for a period of 5 business days from the first date the studio hold or option is requested. After that period of time, Clients should communicate with us to re-instate their hold or option. If we do not hear from you after 5 business days, the hold or option will be released. We will consider any prior special arrangements as a courtesy. Please reach out to us to discuss.


CANCELLATIONS AND OVERTIME

Cancellations must be in writing. If cancellation is received at least 5 business days prior to first date booked, Client shall remain responsible for 50% of the daily rate for each day booked and confirmed herein. If written notice of cancellation is received less than 5 days prior to the first date booked, Client shall be responsible for 100% of daily rate for each day booked. Payment in full is due prior to the first rental day booked. Overtime encompasses any time outside of the scheduled booking hours. The client is responsible for paying for the time used.

PAYMENT

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, ACH Wire Transfers and Zelle payments are accepted.

To Guarantee your Booking dates, a 50% retaining fee is required when signing the contract. Retaining fees and balances paid to Bond Street Studio are non-refundable. The remaining 50% balance is due within 10 business days of your first rental date.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL PAYMENTS: Payment for all equipment rentals is due upon order confirmation. The equipment will not be delivered until payment in full has been satisfied.

Visa & Mastercard purchases will incur a 4% convenience fee. American Express purchases will incur a 5% convenience fee.

If you would like to avoid credit card convenience fees, please utilize an alternate method of payment as listed above.

STUDIO CLEANLINESS

Renter agrees to leave the Premises and all contents and fixtures, including all kitchen appliances and utensils in the same condition as they were when Renter arrived. If Renter does not return Premises to the order and cleanliness found when Renter arrived, Company will charge at a minimum, a $375 cleaning fee.

All items brought to the Premises by Renter are to be removed by Renter the day of their rental (i.e., Sets, Props, Client Owned Equipment).  Any arrangement to leave anything in the studio beyond the day of the client’s rental MUST be agreed to in writing prior to your rental date. Only paper tape can be used on the floor, no gaffer tape. All tape used on the floor must be removed prior to leaving the studio.

kitchens & frying

Deep frying at Bond Street Studio is strictly prohibited. Limited “normal every day” pan frying is usually allowed, but must be discussed and agreed upon prior to any rental contracts being signed.

TRASH REMOVAL

There’s a maximum of 3 contractor size trash bags included in your rental rate. Additional bags will be charged at the rate of $10 per bag. All trash bags must not be fully stuffed and easily lifted out of the garbage bins. Any food items left in the bins must be distributed so as to not heavily laden the trash bins. If there will be more than 5 trash bags full of garbage in total, special pickup arrangements need to be made prior to your rental date by contacting us in writing so we can arrange the special pickups. If you know there will be excessiv e wet food being disposed of, we need to discuss this before your rental takes place.

RECYCLABLES

All recyclables must be tended to. Cans, plastic and bottles must be placed in the provided recycle bins. PLEASE EMPTY FLUIDS FROM ALL BOTTLES AND CANS PRIOR TO PLACING THEM IN THE RECYCLE BINS.

Any seamless paper, cardboard, boxes, production materials, paper, etc., must be cut up and taped up in a condensed orderly fashion prior to you leaving the studio.

PLEASE NOTE: EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS OF CARDBOARD ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT SO PLEASE ARRANGE FOR REMOVAL.

STUDIO DAMAGE

The client accepts responsibility for any & all damage to the walls, floors, equipment, fixtures, appliances, couches, props & anything housed or affixed on or inside the studio during the time of their booking. The client is responsible for replacing any missing or damaged equipment as well as returning the studio to the same condition as it was at the beginning of their rental.

INSURANCE

In all cases, Bond Street Studio requires a Certificate of Liability (COI) Insurance.

WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE IS A MUST HAVE. NO SHOOT WILL PROCEED WITHOUT IT!!

All Certificates of Insurance (COI) must list Bond Street Studio, LLC as the “Certificate Holder” & “Additional Insured” for the certificates to be valid. 

In the ‘Description of Operations’ box, please add the following: “The Certificate Holders are Additional Insured, and Loss Payee with respects to

liability coverage and the sole negligence of the named insured.”
